Introducing: The Francophiles

The Francophiles

Those who have followed my site for a number of years may recall that Susan Hutchinson (Fleurishing) was the inspiration for my Franco File Friday series (which I promise I will revive at some point this year!). A lifelong Francophile, she is perpetually sussing out French flair in her hometown and throughout her travels in the United States. On her last trip to Paris, she spoke to me about a passion project that she was hoping to create with Kirsten Alana, a photographer and frequent traveler to France, that would tap into that profound love for France and unite others around the world who boast a similar fondness. When she asked me to be the third founding member, the answer was a resounding OUI!

On Bastille Day, as fitting a day as any, we launched The Francophiles, a community that aims to inspire, inform and unite everyone with a love for France, no matter where they may be.
